The 2021 Essay Contest


Essay Topic:  What is the most important scientific lesson you have learned from the COVID-19 pandemic? Discuss how that lesson will influence your research work and/or career.

We invite you to submit an essay of 800 words or less, written in English. References are not counted towards the 800 word limit.

The deadline to submit all materials is March 31 at 1 p.m. US Eastern daylight time. Winners will be announced in early July.

Essays longer than 800 words or essays that are not written in English will not be considered.  See eligibility criteria.
