The "Winners of Film" section of the Lasker Foundation website require Adobe Flash Player. This player allows you to view animations and rich interactive features on the web.

If the sound from the video segments are to low, or you can't hear them at all, please try adjusting the volume on the player.

If this does not help, you may need to adjust the volume on your computer.

To do this, click on the speaker icon (the position of which is shown below) and use the slider to increase the volume.

Finally, if you still have problems with the sound, please ensure that any external hardware (eg. speakers or headphones) are connected and working correctly.

If the video segments stutter, or stall.

This is because the bandwidth (data rate) the video download requires exceeds the bandwidth available to you.

You can either wait until the video has downloaded further before you view it, or else try the low bandwidth version of this site from the video preferences page (choosing the lower bandwidth version will reduce the quality of the video).

If you cannot view any of the video.

This may be because you do not have the player you chose installed on your computer, or the version you have is not compatible with the video.

You can either try to choose the alternate player from the video preferences page, or else try and download the latest versions of the players below.
